PB Parenting is Palm Beach County’s local parenting resource. Felonice Merriman, publisher and owner, started the publication in 2012 when she noticed that there was a lack of information on where to take her then 18 month old daughter around in the new county she had just moved to. No stranger to the media, Merriman has worked at various publications since 1999 including Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers and Treasure Coast Parenting.

Along the way, Merriman picked up a few other savvy moms including associate publisher, Jennifer Preville, who worked in advertising for Ladies Home Journal and Seventeen Magazine. The teaming up of Merriman on the creative side and Preville on the business side created an even stronger publication.  Merriman has 2 children, and Preville has 2 children. Our staff also includes graphic designer Stephanie Davis, and photographer Lynn Hernandez, who both also have 2 children.  

PB Parenting is a parent-driven local publication.  We are working, driving to school and looking for resources for our children and yours right here in Palm Beach County.  

Parents turn to PB Parenting to find out about family friendly events going on in the community, summer camps, party planning ideas, local schools, after school enrichments and more!
