Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation Takes Over The Cooper on #GivingTuesday
Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. — After Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday comes #GivingTuesday on November 29. It’s a global day of giving to kick off the charitable season.
In honor of #GivingTuesday, The Cooper is partnering with Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation (NCHCF) from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. to help raise money to provide families access to world-class, pediatric health care. On that day, The Cooper will donate 10% of its proceeds to NCHCF. Those who want to enjoy the festivities and food on #GivingTuesday are encouraged to make a reservation.
“We are so grateful for this partnership with The Cooper. Not only will guests be able to enjoy the amazing food and atmosphere, they’ll also be helping a good cause simply by going out to dinner,” said Patty McDonald, president and CEO of NCHCF.
From November 29 to December 4, guests will also be able to add on an additional donation when they receive their dining check.
For those who want to make a contribution of $250 or more to NCHCF, they can do so through the “Give a Bear. Get a Bear.” program. Donors will receive a teddy bear, and so will a child at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. The bears will be available from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Cooper, and online at nchcf.org.
“This is a great way to truly connect with the cause. Your money will go toward improving pediatric health care, while a hospitalized child will get to actually hold a part of your gift in their arms,” McDonald said.
#GivingTuesday at The Cooper will not only feature great food and drinks, but there will also be live entertainment and an #UNselfie Zone. An #UNselfie is a photo of someone participating in some way with their favorite charitable cause. There will be a chance to win prizes for guests who post their #UNselfie to social media using the hasthtag #NCHCF, while also checking in at The Cooper.
